Sea Eagle Paddle Ski Inflatable Kayak
In the song "Michael Row the Boat Ashore", the second verse starts like this: "Sister help to trim the sail." Listening to the song, we might begin to wonder exactly what kind of boat we are talking about: a row boat or a sail boat. But did you know that historically many boats and ships had both oars and sails?
Take the brigantine, for example. Originally, a small ship that used both oars and sails to propel itself through water, the brigantine became a favorite among the privateers of the Mediterranean. The word brigantine, in fact, derives from the Italian brigantino, which means "a brigand."
While there are no brigantines currently for sale, the Sea Eagle Paddle Ski uses both paddles and a sail.
