Senator Rand Paul is being detained by the TSA in Nashville

Senator Rand Paul, (R-Kentucky) was detained this morning at Nashville Airport. When an anomaly set off the scanner, the TSA refused to allow Senator Paul to enter the scanner again. Instead, they demanded that he undergo a pat-down. Paul declined, and he was not allowed to board his flight.

The Senator was on his way to the Capital to attend a session of Congress. His detention was contrary to a provision of the United States constitution.
